The 60daybtc challenge has been a perfect change for me. I was reluctant at first but when I read some of the testimonials it was good to know that different levels of fitness were encouraged to take part. I don’t think I have done proper exercise for at least 7 years! I also thought that if I’m going to do this then I would jump in the deep end and give it my all. 5 days a week doing the 6am class. I wanted to be healthier and fit for summer and I’m feeling heaps better now. Plus we eat healthier."

"I joined up with Mike and the team in September, I knew I was unfit, but didn't realise how bad. I won't lie to you, the first 2 weeks was a painful experience, but as my body got used to it, I noticed the changes. I definitely had more energy, and I also started to shed some serious weight. I didn't really alter my diet too much, perhaps I became a bit more conscious of portion size, but that was all. I completed my first 60 days having lost about 6kg, and immediately signed up till the end of the year. At present, I've lost just over 8kgs, and I look slimmer, and feel great! And I will be signing up to continue on in 2017. Mike is a great motivator, and happy to alter the various exercises to suit (if your carrying an injury, or feel pain). We get regular motivational posts via social media, as well as food prep ideas for healthy meals. Weather doesn't stop us either, there is undercover areas to train under, all you need is the motivation. The great thing is, we all started because we had similar goals, either get fit, lose a few kgs or both. Everyone is super friendly, and help to push each other that little bit. I cannot commend Mike enough, he's such a friendly, easy going bloke. It's a great Bootcamp, just get on it!"

"I've been training with Mike on and off for 3 years and I love it. He's warm and welcoming and beyond accommodating. Over the past couple of years I've had a string of injuries, some minor and some major and every time he bends over backwards to make sure I still get the most out of each session and I don't miss out all together. Not only is his training on point his nutrition advice has seen me reach my goals on more than one occasion. 
We recently moved house out of the local area but with an upcoming wedding, have just started back training with Mike again despite having to travel 45 mins each morning to get there because I know he can get me the results I need! "Michael's bootcamps are a great way to start the day. You feel a bit apprehesive before the start, feel almost exhausted half way through, and feel fantastic every time the hour is over. Michael keeps the pace up through the whole lesson, and makes the exercises fun all the way through. The people are great and everyone supports each other. And the park makes a beautiful backdrop to the whole event - far better than a treadmill in some gym. I've gone from having weak knees and slouching, to standing straight with power in the legs, and my abs are looking great for summer. I probably won't impress any young ladies at the beach, but I feel fine after the bootcamps. And I'll be there in August again. 66, quintuple bypass, barefoot runner and eat like a no-fat vegan."

"At the age of 61, I was somewhat apprehensive in joining a Box-Fit Bootcamp 60 Day Challenge.  I didn’t know whether I would fit in or whether I would be able to keep up.  After my first session, I was exhausted and exhilarated yet looked forward to the next class.  After 12 weeks (2 x one hour sessions per week), I have lost 7kg and 32cm overall.  I had no reason to be concerned about my age or fitness level.  The other participants are so encouraging, I have never felt in the least out of place and Michael, as the Trainer, is cognisant of everyone’s level of ability and tailors his classes to suit.  As a bonus, when I am told “you are looking terrific”, I know I’m on the right course."

“While seeing the advertisement for Bootcamp initially, I felt some fear around joining anything where there may be competition. However pushing past that fear I found training outside to be exhilarating and a reminder of childhood, playing outside after school. Yes there has been some competition during Bootcamp including participation by our coach with lots of humour and positive reinforcement.

 

The combination of nutritional advice and focus on challenging area's of our bodies is refreshing feeling the changes physically, mentally and emotionally.

 

I am achieving great results and feel this is due to the unique training style of a coach who knows that variety keeps people motivated, humour lightens the effort of it all and the camaraderie of the group as a whole.

 

This is the most fun exercise I have ever done and the changes in eating habits will be for life because they are easy and satiating.
